We are pleased to report that the Club known as Harefield Ex- Servicemen’s Club is going to re- open on Saturday 20th August (times to be confirmed).

The Club which is under new management and now will be known as the “Harefield Social Club” and will still be the ancestral home of the Harefield Branch of the Royal British Legion.

RBL properties, decided that the Ex-serviceman’s Club had run its course and wanted it under new ownership. 

RBL properties (who own the building) stated that they would only consult with the officers of the Harefield Branch RBL. After much discussion it was concluded that the Club could only re- open under new ownership and management, and that the Harefield Branch RBL could still use the premises and facilities of the building to meet and carry out its RBL duties.

The Club will now be known as the “Harefield Social Club” Home of Harefield Branch Royal British Legion.

We would like to congratulate the Branch Officers who convinced RBL properties to re-open the club, and of course good luck to the new management and ownership of the Club.

It would be great to see our Harefield community really get behind and support the new ownership / management and to use the Club and its excellent facilities on a regular basis.
